Indeed, this is why I'm smoking a ribeye roast instead of a turkey, and we're putting bacon in the greenbean casserole, and we have a bottle of Highland Park 12yr for "dessert"

Nice! I was thinking of doing tenderloin, but they didn't have any in a reasonable size, and the ginormous ones they did have were all priced around $100 and would feed like 25-30 people....I'm feeding 12 at the most, 10 more likely. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm out of cider and rum, this just will not do!

I'm not too knowledgable on liquor as no one in my family drinks, but that sounds really good.
